Julianne Schultz AM FAHA is Professor of Media and Culture at Griffith University. She is an accomplished journalist, editor, academic, author and public speaker who has written extensively about journalism, culture and media, including Reviving the Fourth Estate: Media, Accountability and Democracy (Cambridge Uni Pres). She is currently chair of The Conversation, the global digital media platform, publisher and founding editor of the award winning Australian quarterly Griffith Review. She has served on the board as a director of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and chaired the Australian Film TV and Radio School.
