Daitou Cissi

Khady Diatou Cissé is a Senegalese journalist with extensive experience in print, radio, and television. She has served as a reporter and editor-in-chief in the major reports and magazines department of national television, as well as director of regional channels.

She was Secretary General of the Senegalese Union of Information Professionals (Synpics) and has been a member of the Tribunal of Peers for the Respect of Ethics and Professional Conduct. At the international level, she has served on the Executive Committee of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and as Vice-President of the IFJ.

A graduate of CESTI (Centre for the Study of Journalism) at the University of Dakar, Cissé also pursued advanced training at the CFPJ in Paris, Aix-Marseille University, and in Canada.

In addition to her professional achievements, she is actively involved in several women’s rights organizations.
