Expert Council

Activist for human rights, against racism and all forms of discrimination in the International solidarity movement from the '70s, has been working in international cooperation with Africa, Latin America and the Middle East with different Italian NGOs and public institutions. As a member of the National Anti-apartheid Coordination, contributed to the campaign "Free Nelson Mandela" and to the adoption by the Italian Parliament of trade and economic sanctions against the Apartheid regime. In 2018 was awarded by the South African Embassy in Italy for her contribution to the anti-apartheid struggle. From 2015 up to 2022 has been elected member of the board of the FARE network (Football Against Racism in Europe).

International observer in peace negotiations and electoral processes for NGOs, AWEPA and United Nations Monitoring groups in South Africa, Mozambique, Angola, Namibia, Iraq, Kurdistan, Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Advisor for international affairs and cooperation of the Mayor of the city of Rome (1994-2000).  Advisor for relations with African civil society and development cooperation of the deputy Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Italian Government (2006-2008). Spokeswoman of the Italian General States of International Solidarity and development cooperation (2005-2008).
